Who we are

Disco Azul was founded in 2009 by producer Jamile Vasconcelos, who brought with her the experience in production and coordination of bands, festivals, and major national and international artistic projects, with which she collaborated starting from the year 2001. The idea was to create and implement good ideas in the arts, especially music.

Thus, the company began creating its own projects while continuing to collaborate with third-party projects, also including curation and consultancy in its activities. From 2015 onwards, the company began to narrow the dialogue between music and technology, developing app projects in these areas. In 2020, it included in its repertoire the nimbus_cloud, a project aimed at conducting its own musical experiments and recordings.

Cultural Producer/Manager, Singer, and Researcher in Real-Time Systems. Graduated in Classical Singing (UFBA) and Graduated (UNIFACS), Specialist (UNIFACS), Master (UFBA), and PhD student (UFBA) in Computer Science.
